New Peripheral Neuropathy Clinic

CancerHelp is delighted to be part of a brand new clinic helping those with Peripheral Neuropathy (PN), a condition that can arise because of some newer chemotherapy treatments. PN often causes extreme pain in the feet and hands and research shows that one in 10 cancer patients using newer chemotherapy medicines develop PN as a side effect.

The clinic, funded by Rosemere Cancer Foundation is set to support cancer patients to cope with treatment side effects and has been set up at the request of Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust’s lead cancer nurse Anne Tomlinson.

This is a new and exciting collaboration and our team are delighted to be so involved.
